What It Does

Analytical Overview

ORBFlow monitors the price range established during the opening minutes of the Regular Trading Hours session — anchored to Eastern Time regardless of the trader's local machine clock — and surfaces analytical conditions as price moves relative to that structure.

The tool draws the range box on the chart with High, Low, and Midpoint reference lines, then highlights first-contact breakout conditions, range reclaims, and directional rejections through color-coded visual markers placed directly on the price panel.

A real-time HUD panel in the upper section of the chart presents all relevant opening range context at a glance, including momentum context, trend state, ADX reading, and multi-timeframe alignment, reducing the need to switch between chart views during active sessions.

PRIME / MINOR Signal Classification

First-contact breakout conditions receive a PRIME designation; conditions that re-emerge after price re-enters the range are classified as MINOR, each with distinct visual styling.

Range Box with H / L / Mid Levels

Visual range box drawn on the price panel with labeled High, Low, and Midpoint levels that persist for the full session as ongoing structural reference.

Screen Flash + Configurable Audio Alerts

Full-screen color flash and optional .wav audio alert fire on first breakout conditions, with configurable filenames and flash count.

Live HUD Panel

Heads-up display overlay shows current ORB status, momentum reading, ADX, Flow, EMA trend direction, MTF alignment, and a strength meter — updated on each bar.

Strength Meter with Trend-Adaptive Coloring

A composite strength meter adjusts its color output to reflect the current trend context — green for bullish alignment, red for bearish, yellow for indeterminate.

EMA Trend Filter for MINOR Conditions

Optional EMA-based trend gate restricts MINOR-classified conditions to align with the prevailing trend direction.

ADX and Flow Alignment Filters

Optional filters for MINOR conditions require minimum ADX strength and flow alignment, providing layered analytical criteria for condition qualification.
